I decided to do something different this year since Kellen didn't really like putting his hands in the pumpkin last year. I found this kit at our PX and you just stick the eyes, nose, mouth and ears into your pumpkin kinda like a Mr Potato Head. I thought Kellen will love this... and he did until we were done and we could not light the pumpkin. Kellen said Mommy come on we need to get the light for the pumpkin. So this morning we carved one of our little pumpkins and lit it with a tealight. This made Kellen happy and mommy was able to roast some yummy pumpkin seeds.

We went to Boo at the Zoo at Thompson Park Zoo in Watertown, NY. The kids wore their costumes and trick or treated inside the zoo. It was fun and we saw wolves, eagles, mountain lions, elk, turkeys and many farm animals. We had a good time and then went to Ponderosa for lunch. Kellen even sat with Ronald to discuss french fries. Kellen loves Donald's french fries.

We left our house in Virginia last Saturday ;( and came to our new house at Fort Drum on Sunday. The first picture is of our house at Fort Belvoir. The next two are pictures of my kitchen and great room at Fort Drum. We are very slowly getting settled. Who knows when I will get my scrapbook stuff out to play. Well off to unpack another box...or two.

I made these two thank you cards for both of my sons schools. Next week is there last week before we move back to Fort Drum. I will be packing up my papercrafting supplies today or tomorrow so I will not be posting for awhile. Check back today for one more post and then hopefully I will back up and running in a couple weeks.
