Paper Craft Star Recipe Challenge

I made this Halloween card for the Paper Craft Star recipe challenge. The recipe was to make a card 5.5 x 5.5 with a 5 in mat. You had to score your mat 5 times 1/4 in. You also had to use three buttons and three flowers cut from a diecut or punch. I used the Hooligans paperpack from CTMH. I put a button in the middle of my big flower and pear colored buttons in the middle of my mini flowers. I inked my score lines to make them more visible. Thanks for looking at my newest creation.

A Crafty Little Place Color Challenge

I made this birthday card using the sketch from Heart 2 Heart challenges. I used all CTMH products except for the felt ribbon which I purchased at Michaels. I used the Hooligans paperpack and embellishments. Thanks for looking.

A Crafty Little Place Challenge

I have been making cards like crazy lately because I am preparing for our move when I will not have time to papercraft. I have been using challenge blogs for inspiration and it has really helped me. This challenge is from http://www.acraftylittleplace.blogspot.com/ This was a recipe challenge using two designer papers, three buttons and 0ne flower. I used CTMH paper pack That's Amore and the flower is also CTMH. The two green buttons are Basic Grey and the pink button is from an old sweater.

This is the card I made for this weeks Heart 2 Heart Challenge. The challenge was to make your main focus your sentiment. I like the card because it is simple and can be used easily for a man. I used Zippidee paper, honey brads, the fuzzy felt circles and the stamp set Piece of Cake.

This is the first card I made for the MOJO Monday sketch challenge. I really liked this sketch and it was just the inspiration I needed to make some cards. I used CTMH products and Fancy Pants paper.

First Day Of School

Heart 2 Heart Challenge

The Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week is using the colors Autumn Terracotta, Honey and New England Ivy. I have been in the mood to do a festive fall layout. In this layout I used the new Petite Perks stamp set. I also used one of the very cool A-Door-Ables. The only items on this layout that are not CTMH is the ribbon on the top which I think came from Walmart and the honey colored button.

Get Well

I made this card for my mom who just had surgery on Thursday. She is home now and feeling better.

Sympathy Card

I made this card for my friend whose father past away this week. I used the August Stamp of the Month called Something Splendid. I embossed my flower but I am not sure that you can tell in the picture.

New Close To My Products

The new Idea Book for Close To My Heart comes out today. Here are some projects I have been working on showcasing some of the new products. I decorated a chinese food container which can be used to deliver christmas cookies to a neighbor or friend. I also made an ornament using the new Dimensional Elements. To make these items I used the new paper pack Mistletoe and new matching embellishments. Lastly I covered a Hershey bar with Hooligans paper and used the new stamp set called Spook Alley.

The Triple Play Kit is currently available through Close To My Heart until the end of the month. If you spend $25.00 in stamps you can purchase this kit for $15.00. If spend $40.00 in stamps you can purchase this kit for $5.00. If you just want the kit it retails for $29.95. The kit is designed to make three mini albums. However I used my kit a little differently. I made three cards, three sticky note holders and three mini albums that will hold three pictures. Perfect to carry in your purse to showcase children, grandchildren or anyone special. Some items used on my projects are not included in the kit.
