My father-n-laws birthday is on March 7th and this is the card that I made for him. He likes motorcycles and will be 51 this year. I found my inspiration at www.mojomonday.blogspot.com

Basic Training
This is a 17-year-old Dustin when he attended Basic Training the summer between his Junior and Senior year of High School. Of course this young man would have no idea where his Army career would take him and all the things that he would see. Although I sometimes forget to tell him I am very proud of all the hard-work he does for his Country and for his family everyday.

Topstitch Card with Stickease
I made this card with a new paper pack from CTMH called Topstitch. I used the coordinating stickease and pearls. My niece is getting her tonsils out and this card is for her.

Valentine for Hubby
I made this "Love Bug" to hold my husbands favorate candy that I bought him for Valentines Day. I also bought him a three pack of car freshners for his vehicle because he likes to change them often. I thought the two went very well together. My friend Jessica introduced me to this idea through www.pickledpaperdesigns.blogspot.com Hope you all have a great Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

The Storm is Over
Here are some pics of the final amount of snow we received from yesterdays storm. The first picture is Dustin shoveling out our front steps and sidewalk. The other picture shows how the snow is level with the top stoop. You can literally walk out our front door and walk directly into the snow. We received between 2 and 2 1/2 feet of snow. That is legendary in our area. This would barely effect Lewis County but we are in a state of emergency with some people still without power and roads that will not be plowed until Tuesday. Oh by the way we have another storm coming in on Tuesday bring possibly another 6 inches. Very thankful we never lost our power.

Blizzard 2010
Well they are calling this storm Blizzard 2010 and we are going down in the history books. They believe this storm will break records for the most snow fall ever in this area. Washington DC is looking at getting close to 30 inches before the storm is over. Pictures of snow are no big deal to all my friends and family in the North Country, but people here are living in shelter mod. Everything is closed, yet some people are braving the roads and finding there way into the ditch. Have a great weekend.
